The calculator

Battery size, charge levels, electricity price, charger power and the optional distance figure are read from the form by JavaScript running in your own browser. The calculation happens on your device. These values are not transmitted to a server, not logged, not stored and not associated with you.

No accounts, no forms, no tracking of you

There is no sign-up, no contact form on this site and no newsletter. The site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Server logs

Like any web server, the host records ordinary request logs such as IP address, timestamp and requested page, for security and troubleshooting. These are not combined with anything you enter in the calculator and are not used to build a profile of you.

Third parties

The site links to official Australian government pages on the sources page. Following one of those links takes you to another site with its own privacy practices, which this site does not control.
